World Premier of Embers Surf Film Goes off at Salty Bear Brewing Company

Surfing fans, friends, and craft beer aficionados alike gathered in Costa Mesa for the World Premiere of Embers. The anticipation was palpable as the sun left the evening sky and unveiled "Embers," a mesmerizing short surf film featuring the exceptional talents of Body Glove athletes Tyler Gunter and Nolan Rapoza. Embers is a tube riding odyssey and the perfect opportunity for the boys to test out the New Body Glove Wetsuits in crisp, cold South American waters. Masterfully filmed and edited by filmmaker Shane Kreutzer, this film had garnered immense curiosity since no footage had yet been shared on social media. "Embers" was a treat for goofy footers, a celebration of the art of riding perfect lefts. The film promised to take the audience on an immersive experience, capturing days upon days of exhilarating surfing against the backdrop of flawless waves. With Tyler Gunter and Nolan Rapoza as the stars of the show, it was a dream come true listening to the crowd erupt during so many of their waves.

The venue for this much-anticipated event was the Salty Bear Brewing Company, which buzzed as guests settled into seats and standing room only positions. The venue was transformed into a hub of surf culture with many folks in town for the 2023 US Open of Surfing in attendance.

Once the final frame of the film faded to black, the room erupted in applause. The applause was not just for the film, but also for the dedication, hard work, and passion Nolan, Tyler, and Shane put into the project. The premiere of "Embers" had indeed lived up to its promise, leaving the audience awash with energy.

But the night was far from over. Local Costa Mesa band Scarlett Bloom took to the stage, filling the venue with their melodic chill vibe tunes. The music seamlessly complemented the vibe that had enveloped the space, creating a perfect transition from the world of the film to the reality of the present moment. Not to mention, everybody was getting their fill of some tasty food courtesy of the The Los Ángeles Taco Company

As the evening drew to a close, attendees left Salty Bear Brewing Company with a sense of fulfillment and anticipation. The premiere of "Embers" had not only met expectations but had exceeded them. The combination of skillful filmmaking, awe-inspiring surfing, and vibrant music had created a night that would be etched into their memories.
